Angel Reese launches lookalike Barbie because she didn’t have black dolls as a kid. Mattel's catalog says otherwise.

On July 24, timed to WNBA All-Star Weekend, Mattel launched Atlanta Dream All-Star forward Angel Reese’s signature Barbie doll.

Reese, ironically nicknamed the “Bayou Barbie,” now has a miniature lookalike that wears a pink basketball uniform with her No. 5, signature headband, leg sleeve, plus miniature Reebok Angel Reese 1 sneakers.

All of this is well and good, but where BlazeTV’s Sara Gonzales draws the line is Reese’s comments about the why behind her Barbie doll.

While the three-time All-Star confessed to some selfish motives — “I told [Mattel] I really wanted to have a Barbie doll one day and to have a Barbie is like you got to be iconic,” she said in a press conference — she also justified the doll as representation.

When asked what kind of dolls she played with as a child, Reese answered, “I didn't have a lot of dolls because I didn't have dolls that really looked like me much. And that's why I kind of really wanted to make sure this was super intentional.”

Sara immediately throws the flag.

Reese, she points out, was born in 2002 and is 24 years old — well after Mattel’s long push to put more than one kind of girl on the shelf.

“We looked it up and between 2002 and 2014, Mattel ... released between 250 to 350 unique black Barbie dolls,” says Sara. “So I don't know where Angel Reese was, but there were plenty of black Barbie dolls to choose from.”

“In fact, Barbie has been making black dolls since the '60s. So I guess Angel Reese would rather just play the victim ... than just play with your black dolls,” she adds.

Sara doesn’t dispute a young girl’s desire to have a doll that looks like her.

“I totally get it,” she acknowledges. “It's just that [Reese] already had them.”

“As much as they complain that they’re underrepresented ... when they do get representation, it's never good enough, or they have to erase it,” she sighs.

Talarico says being a 'white straight guy' limited him — until certain 'experiences and relationships'

As Texas gears up for the end of the detrimental Senate race between Ken Paxton and James Talarico, BlazeTV host Sara Gonzales is warning conservatives against assuming the outcome is a foregone conclusion.

“People get complacent and then they get mad that they don’t have 100% of the things that they wanted to happen, happen,” Gonzales says, noting that this attitude won’t help as “these are complete lunatics that we’re up against.”

“And they could potentially take back control if we don’t pay attention,” she continues.

“I say this from real personal experience here in the state of Texas because we have this race for the Senate that we’re talking about all the time because it’s important. Because so goes Texas, so goes the country,” she explains.

Gonzales calls the “only sane pick” in the race Paxton, who is up against this “weird, low-t soy boy.”

“I thought that they were like at the bottom of the barrel when they ran Beto O’Rourke,” she says.

“But wait there’s worse,” she adds, noting that she’s already run a ton of Talarico clips in the past that are “nonsensical.”

“It turns out there’s more that just keeps coming out,” she explains, before playing a clip of Talarico that reads as “a little bit of an admittance” that “he at least maybe dabbled in some gay stuff.”

In the clip, Talarico explained that his “colleagues are limited by their experience.”

“I know that because I, as a white straight guy, you know, have the same limitations, those same blinders. Thankfully, I’ve been able to have some experiences and relationships that have helped take off some of those same blinders,” he said.

“But a lot of my colleagues still have, you know, the full set that they were born with. And so the challenge is, how do you lift those blinders for folks?” he continued.

“What are you talking about?” Gonzales asks.

“You start to wonder.”

“Are you thinking back to those experiences that have taken your blinders off, James? Huh? I’m just going to leave that one here,” she adds.

Trump broke liberals so bad, they're using MapQuest now

President Trump has decided to rename Lake Ontario “Lake America,” and liberals are reacting with anger that BlazeTV host Sara Gonzales believes would be better suited for the influx of illegal immigrants let in under the Biden administration.

“We are adding a new stage to TDS when it comes to the libs because ... you think that they have stage five terminal cases of Trump derangement syndrome, and then they just take it to a whole new level,” Gonzales says, noting that there should be a “new stage six.”

At this “stage six,” she explains that the controversy “breaking the brains of libs and sending them into full-blown meltdown mode is not illegal criminals committing crimes in our country.”

“It’s actually, of course, something way less serious, something way less important, which is President Trump renaming Lake Ontario to Lake America,” she says.

In retaliation, liberals have started a boycott of any company that is going along with Trump’s proclamation, like Apple and Google Maps, who have changed Lake Ontario to Lake America in their systems.

“So now libs are like, ‘We can’t use these companies. I’m never using Apple Maps again. I won’t use Google Maps,’” she says, explaining that the only company liberals have been able to find that didn’t rename the lake is MapQuest.

“Which is apparently still a thing. And I think probably the only reason that it didn’t rename it ... is because it hasn’t been updated since like 2015,” Gonzales says.

“So they’re going to run into some dead ends. But be that as it may, MapQuest is number one on the app store right now after refusing to change Lake Ontario’s name, according to CNN,” she continues.

In an interview on CNN, MapQuest General Manager Doug Berger told Erin Burnett that the company was “absolutely blown away by the response.”

“The updated figure is over 1.5 million downloads and installs so far. So it’s completely shocking. And yeah, what a ride so far,” he continued.

Burnett even pressed the company on its lack of relevance, as most Americans use Apple or Google to map out their directions.

“When people saw this, there were some who said, ‘Wait, MapQuest?’ They weren’t sure that it was still there. OK,” Burnett said, “and you fully embraced that entire conversation.”

“So when Eric Trump posts, quote, ‘Shocking to see you’re still alive.’ What is your response to that?” she asked.

“First of all, it’s hilarious, and it’s also true. MapQuest is 30 years old. This is actually the 30th birthday or anniversary of MapQuest. And so everybody has fond memories of printing out directions back in the day,” he replied.

“Really fond memories,” Gonzales says. “Good luck with your stupid map website app, whatever, printing off your directions. Good luck. Hopefully your directions don’t make you drive right into the Lake of America.”

Mamdani's taxpayer-funded communist propaganda machine EXPOSED

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani's administration has cultivated a network of social media influencers to amplify his policies online, and BlazeTV host Sara Gonzales is warning that it follows a pattern seen in failing socialist movements throughout history.

“I regret to inform you ... that the Muslim commie mayor of New York City, Zohran Mamdani, has been rolling out his next phase of this communist takeover plan. And you now, I’m just going to predict it’s not going to go well,” Gonzales says.

Mamdani has begun implementing his city-run grocery stores, which Gonzales notes will “effectively run real grocery stores out of business.”

“He’s like, ‘We’re pricing everything lower.’ Real grocery stores can’t do that. It’s only the government. It’s only the government that when they’re playing with someone else’s money, when they’re playing with your money, they can do things like that,” she says.

“And then once you’ve got that, once you’ve got that government control, well, a real communist wants to control the way that people think. And so as we’ve seen time and time again in all these other communist countries, they have to control the airwaves,” she continues.

And Mamdani, Gonzales says, “has done this quite masterfully.”

“He’s turning up the communist propaganda machine,” she explains, noting that the Columbia Journalist Review first exposed Mamdani for recruiting “a bunch of TikTokers and social media influencers to get his message out.”

“They created this Signal group, and the Signal group gets all the talking points from the socialist overlords,” she says.

The group receives talking points and clips they’re instructed to use in their posts.

“America is fighting for its life right now. Meanwhile, New York City is just living in Zohran Mamdani’s Disney Channel movie, 'Mayor of Uncontrollable Joy.' I’m not like jealous or anything though,” one TikTok influencer said in a video.

“Luckily Republicans are freaking out because there are mini-Mamdani’s popping up all over the country,” she said.

“You deserve hope-core everywhere, not just New York,” she added.

“These people are getting paid for it,” Gonzales says.

And according to an expose from the New York Post, it’s getting funded by the taxpayers.

“The taxpayers are paying for good messaging and PR for their mayor. Now, money is always bad to these communists. You hear about all this dark money: 'dark money, evil billionaires, evil trillionaire, Elon Musk.' It’s always bad unless you can use other people's cash to push your communist agenda,” Gonzales says.

“And by the way, this is not like a small amount of money that we’re talking about. Some of these people are getting paid up to $20,000 to do this,” she adds.

‘She’s a class hero’: The left’s latest villain-to-victim makeover has Sara Gonzales fuming

A pattern has emerged on the left that’s become impossible to ignore: Criminals are increasingly portrayed as victims of circumstance, while the innocent people they harm are forgotten.

“We saw it with Luigi Mangione. We saw it with Charlie Kirk. We see this thing where they constantly paint killers, just like cold-blooded killers, as being either victims or heroes,” BlazeTV host Sara Gonzales says.

And one recent case is extra disturbing.

“This obviously deranged woman, Pamela Cisneros, went on a stabbing spree in Times Square. She killed one person and injured another,” Gonzales says.

In footage of the incident, Cisneros is holding the knives she used to stab innocent passersby, before charging at police officers with the knives out. The police initially attempted to taze her, but when that didn’t work, they shot and killed her.

“They did their best. Now remember, I just said she had already killed someone and injured another. So she had already taken someone’s life. They knew that she meant business, and they showed remarkable restraint,” Gonzales comments.

However, the left is now claiming the police went too far by shooting her.

“I just don’t understand the world that I’m living in right now. What do you mean you didn’t have to shoot her?” Gonzales asks.

And Cisneros’ mother has also chimed in, asking why the cops couldn’t “grab her” instead of shooting her.

“I guess insanity runs in the family,” Gonzales says. “Maybe that’s what it is.”

“And of course, because this woman’s last name happened to be Cisneros, and she has more melanin in her skin, and she was shot and killed by the police,” she continues, “the media want to pounce on her and figure out ... why would such a good person, a wonderful member, contributing member of society do something like this?”

One “puff piece” by the Gothamist even dives into her “long mental health struggle.”

“It’s so strange,” Gonzales says, “that I didn’t actually see a write-up from this very same outlet about the victim who was stabbed by this person.”

Instead, Gonzales is seeing hate-filled comments directed at the woman, Erin Piacenti, murdered by Cisneros.

“She is now the villain in the story,” she says, reading a post on X that says, “'You’re not going to get me to feel bad for the vice president of Bank of America lmao.’”

“Never mind she’s a class hero,” another post read.

“The fact that anyone would even remotely glorify the killing of an innocent woman who was just going home to her newborn child because of what her occupation was and where she worked is just beyond disturbing,” Gonzales says.

Now presenting 'misogynoir' — the Democrats' latest reason it’s never their fault

Democrats have never run out of ways to cast themselves as victims — and according to BlazeTV host Sara Gonzales, it's only getting worse.

“Democrats and liberals, they’re just always victims. They are just always the victims in life. Nothing is ever good enough. They always have to complain that they’re oppressed. Someone is oppressing them,” she says.

“And I’d like to introduce you at this point to Representative Maxwell Frost, a Democrat from Florida,” she adds, playing a clip of Frost from a Jubilee debate.

“I don’t have a ton of money in a bank account when I decided to run for office, so I had to hustle and make ends meet, which is the thing that you are all telling Gen Z,” Frost said, arguing that the American dream is out of reach.

“That’s the American dream,” his opponent, wearing a patriotic headband, interjected.

“You lived it,” he added, before clapping along with the rest of the Jubilee debaters.

Frost then denied that it was the “American dream.”

“The American dream isn’t driving Uber to barely make ends meet. The American dream is upward mobility and being able to have success,” he argued.

“You went from driving an Uber to being a politician,” his opponent said, dumbfounded. “Is that upward?”

“That sounds pretty upward to me. A lot of upward mobility in the change from driving Uber to a representative in Congress. But then again, I’m not a Democrat,” Gonzales comments.

But it gets worse, as the next clip Gonzales plays features MS NOW’s Eugene Daniels, who used a new leftist term to describe the racism and sexism Jasmine Crockett supposedly faced in her run, and loss, for the Texas Senate.

“I think what was really interesting about this primary in particular in Texas was that the nastiness online bled into the nastiness on the ground,” he began.

“Usually it’s like, you know, the internet is not real life, which I believe typically when it comes to politics, like a lot of people yelling about everything, but somehow in Texas it became a part of the actual campaign on the ground,” he continued.

“And so there was some racism online, a lot of racism, a lot of sexism, a lot of misogynoir, which is a connection of both of those things against her,” he added.

“What? ‘Misogynoir'? What are you? You just made that up, sir. That is not a term,” Gonzales says.

“That’s how bad it’s gotten. That is how bad the Democrat Party has gotten. There is no floor,” she adds.

BEYOND DISTURBING — abortion announcements: The new social media trend

Women on social media have been crossing lines left and right that would have been unthinkable just a few years ago, and as BlazeTV host Sara Gonzales has noticed, it just keeps getting worse.

“Obviously, I have spoken out about the brain rot that takes place because of social media,” Gonzales says on “Sara Gonzales Unfiltered,” calling it a “double-edged sword.”

“Social media can be really great and used for really great things, and you know, you get to see the side of stories that the news, you know, the mainstream media doesn’t want to show you,” she says.

However, social media has also exposed the darker side of people.

“But then it also brings out this just like, you know, the TikTok girls who are throwing ice in their bathtubs because they want to be like Lindsay Clancy because they low-key just hate their kids,” she explains.

“Now, you have an entirely new unhinged level where people think it’s cute to make abortion announcements,” she adds, before showing a post from an Instagram user who goes by “Black Girl Chica.”

Chica posted a picture with an announcement that read, “Baby Cancelled. Due date was April 14, 2027.”

A onesie laid out next to the announcement read, “Mommy changed her mind, daddy wasn’t s**t.”

“The words fail me at this point. Words actually fail me. And if that wasn’t bad enough, there were people encouraging her in the comments,” Gonzales says.

“It ain’t never been smart to bring kids into a world of chaos. Good for you lol,” one user commented.

“Laugh out loud,” Gonzales mocks. “Ha, ha, ha. It’s so funny that you killed your own child.”

“The point is, we have just, in 2026, reached just total levels of depravity when it comes to women killing their own children. You’ve got Lindsay Clancy and the women who are just, you know, loving her, and then you have this,” she continues.

“We really need to rethink how we’re using social media and why,” she adds.

This Muslim Democrat is OBSESSED with the genital mutilation of minors

Michigan Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed made his stance clear on the genital mutilation of minors in a recent interview on Fox News with Jesse Watters — and BlazeTV host Sara Gonzales is disturbed.

“Sex changes for minors, do you support that?” Watters asked El-Sayed.

“I just think the government shouldn’t tell you what kind of health care you should have. And if you’re a minor, it’s your parents. Now, if you disagree with that ... if you disagree that health care decisions need to be made by a doctor and their parents and a patient, then I think we just agree to disagree,” El-Sayed answered.

“So you think it’s OK for a parent to slash his kid's ding-a-ling off? You think that’s OK?” Watters asked.

“Do you really want to have this conversation? Are you circumcised?” El-Sayed asked.

“Circumcision’s different than castration,” Watters said, shocked.

“It’s a problem that you think that you get to decide what happens between a parent, a doctor, and a patient. And I’m just saying that yes, circumcision is surgery on a kid's ding-a-ling,” El-Sayed added.

“Circumcision is not chopping off a child’s genitals. That is wild stuff,” Gonzales comments, noting that while he refused to answer Watters, some old audio of his does.

“Right now, 31 bills have been introduced across the country to restrict health care access among trans people seeking gender-affirming care. It’s ironic that a party that decries medical tyranny in the form of flimsy cloth masks thinks that it can get between a person and their doctor,” El-Sayed said in unearthed audio.

“To add insult to injury, an additional 66 bills have been introduced to restrict trans youth from school sports. Seriously, let the kids play. Trans rights are human rights. And this Pride Month, remember that those rights are not a foregone conclusion in this country and that we must keep up the fight for equal dignity, equal protection, and equal rights under the law,” he added.

“By the way,” Gonzales comments, “it seems like other Sharia doctors are pretty obsessed with mutilating genitals too. In Abdul's own state of Michigan, a Detroit-area clinic allowed a doctor to perform a female genital mutilation on two 7-year-old girls from Minnesota.”

“Female genital mutilation is that they, like, cut off a part of a girl’s genitals,” she adds.

Liberals wasted NO TIME using Dolly Parton's death to bash Trump

The death of Dolly Parton sparked an outpouring of grief from fans across the political spectrum, including President Donald Trump, who ordered flags lowered nationwide in her honor.

“Very sad to report that Dolly Parton, one of the greatest Country singers, and far beyond, EVER, has just passed away. This is a true loss for millions of people. There has never been anyone like her, and never will,” Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social.

“In her honor, I am lowering the American flag throughout the United States for a one week period beginning tonight at 6:00PM. Rest in Peace, Dolly! The World loves you,” he added.

“This was the loss of an icon for America,” BlazeTV host Sara Gonzales comments.

But it didn't take long for some commentators to transform a tribute to the beloved singer into yet another political battleground.

“Not even an hour after she died, s**t-libs were trying to politicize her death and turn it into an attack on Trump because orange man bad, I guess,” Gonzales comments.

“I wish I could tell you that I was joking, but an hour after Dolly Parton’s family posted a video announcing her death, you had soy boy low-T Harry Sisson, who posted this,” she adds.

“After Dolly Parton’s passing, Trump and the Republicans are trying to make it seem like they were aligned with her on the issues. But I would remind everybody that the Republicans consistently cut the programs that she cared most about,” Sisson said in a reel on Instagram.

“For example, Missouri Republicans cut $4 million in funding for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library Literacy Program, which sends monthly free books to kids 5 and under. What about funding research for kids? In 2022, Dolly Parton donated a million dollars of her own money to fund pediatric infectious disease research,” he continued.

“But in 2025, Donald Trump cut $12 million in grants for pediatric medical research. And of course, we cannot forget that Dolly Parton was a huge supporter of the LGBTQ+ community. And, well, we know how Republicans have targeted that community,” he added.

“Libs live in this world where you’re not allowed to co-exist, which is so crazy because they’re the ones who have the co-exist bumper stickers on the backs of their cars, but you’re not allowed to co-exist if you have different political opinions,” Gonzales says.

“Literally everything has to be about politics and being diametrically opposed to Donald Trump,” she adds.

Hasan Piker is STILL mocking Charlie Kirk’s assassination

Radical leftist Hasan Piker is at it again after spending the weekend mocking the assassination of Charlie Kirk — singing the “We Are Charlie Kirk” AI-generated song while on a live tour.

A video circulating on social media shows Piker mocking Kirk in front of a crowd while his podcast co-hosts laugh.

“We are Charlie Kirk, we carry the flame / We’ll fight for the gospel, we’ll honor his name,” Piker sang while the crowd and co-hosts laughed along.

BlazeTV host Sara Gonzales is disgusted.

“You have Hasan Piker, who these days is kind of just the Democrat Party spokesman, who just this weekend continued to mock Charlie’s death,” Gonzales says.

“It’s funny that a husband and a father was brutally murdered, assassinated in broad daylight for the entire world to see on film. It’s so funny. It’s so funny that he was murdered because he was speaking freely,” she continues.

“It’s so funny that Hasan Piker is out here mocking the death and somehow is still a hero to the left even though he literally calls for people to be murdered,” she adds, playing a clip of Piker saying that property owners should be killed.

“Kill those motherf**kers and murder those motherf**kers in the street. Let the streets soak in their f**king red capitalist blood, dude,” Piker said on his podcast.

“Hasan Piker, as we’ve talked about before, lives in like ... a $2.7 million home in West Hollywood,” Gonzales says.

“He thinks it's funny that Charlie Kirk died. He’s like, 'Just kill those property owners. Let the streets soak in their blood.' And he has a really nice life because of that,” she adds.
