Another large group of suspected illegal aliens arrived in the United States by boat, according to a video shared recently on social media, the New York Post reported.

The video, captured Thursday morning, showed approximately two dozen individuals offloading from a small ship docked at a marina in Newport Beach, California. The suspected illegal immigrants are seen hopping over the fence to exit the harbor. One man appears to cover his face as he walks past the cameraman. The individuals seem to split off from one another, heading in separate directions toward the neighborhood across the street from the harbor, the video showed.

Newport Beach Mayor Will O’Neill addressed the video in a post on X, writing, “I’m aware of a video showing a mass of people offloading from a boat in our Harbor. I’ve been in touch with the [Orange County] Sheriff’s Department who patrols our Harbor to find out how we can do better.”

O.C. Sheriff Don Barnes recently reported that maritime smuggling operations are becoming more common, with a nearly 140% increase from 2020 to 2023. He noted that “state restrictions on communications with federal partners hinder” Harbor Patrol’s efforts to combat illegal immigration.

“The state should repeal laws that restrict communication with our federal partners,” Barnes said, referring to California’s "sanctuary policies," which prevent local law enforcement agencies from coordinating and cooperating with Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials.

O’Neill said that he “wholeheartedly” agrees with Barnes, stating that “our law enforcement’s hands get tied behind their backs by Sacramento’s ‘sanctuary state’ policies.”

“Our nation’s border crisis is serious, lawless, and dangerous. The approaches taken by the administrations in D.C. and Sacramento have made it significantly worse,” O’Neill continued. “As it has been said, every city is now a border city. We must expect better from people in charge of enforcing our laws.”

In April, a video shared online showed a large group of suspected illegal aliens arriving at a Carlsbad beach by boat.

North County leaders are calling federal and state authorities to secure San Diego’s borders. This comes after Saturday’s incident where a boat carrying migrants sped up to the shore in Carlsbad. #viralvideos #migrants #border #sandiego #beach #carlsbad #carlsbadcalifornia #news #localnews #boat #panga #immigrant #immigration #foryou #foryoupage #videoviral #viralditiktok #lifeguards #shore #coastal #borderpatrol #northcountysd #sd #suv #pressconference #federal #state

The man who recorded the video told KGTV, “To see it live like that. I mean, even police and border patrol said they never caught it live like I did.”

“So to see one coming toward the shore at 40, 45 miles an hour and not turning, it was like a movie ... and the lifeguards were sitting right there, so I thought it was a planned, staged event,” he added.

According to him, 22 people jumped off the ship after beaching it and leaving it behind.

“It looked like a military exercise,” he said.

About half of the individuals jumped in an SUV and fled the scene, the man noted. Another video captured the vehicle dramatically speeding away while one individual was still attempting to jump into the backseat. The remaining illegal immigrants “started walking towards Carlsbad,” the man stated.

Kate Micucci announced in a video on social media that she has undergone lung cancer surgery.

In her announcement, she quipped that her video was "a sick tok," rather than a TikTok. She noted that she has never smoked cigarettes.

In response to someone who commented on her post, Micucci explained, "I had one thing in my bloodwork that came back really high. So I went to a preventative doc who did a few scans." She noted that a heart scan is "where the spot in my lung was noticed."

According to IMDb, Micucci acted in multiple episodes of "The Big Bang Theory" and in one episode of "Psych." She has also done voice acting, including serving as the voice for the character Velma in "Scooby-Doo!" content.

In addition to acting, Micucci has also created art and music.

"I found a lost dog while I was walking to school. And that inspired the first song I ever wrote. Brandy, Lost Dog in the City. It's on my album MY HAT! I love you Brandy!" Micucci wrote when sharing a video in which she performed the song.

A Maryland dad's little-known marine navigation app topped the charts after his daughter posted a heartwarming, 12-second TikTok video asking viewers to help.

"There wasn't really a plan," Argo founder Jeff Foulk said in a video posted on CNN Business. "I didn't even know Megan was going to take the video."

Megan Foulk's short TikTok video shows her bespectacled father at a Chicago boat show. There, Jeff Foulk is seen attempting to pass out flyers promoting his app as disinterested attendees pass him by. Text accompanying the video says, "[H]elp blow up my dads boating app, he's worked so hard on it and just wants people to try it out."

@argonavigation

It’s called Argo, it’s a free navigation app for boaters. Please try it out and let captain Jeff know what you think. He’ll really appreciate it:) #boating #boatlife #foryoupage #navigation #app #developer

Viewers took Megan's request to heart.

After the TikTok video went viral, Foulk saw millions of downloads of the app, which offers both free and paid versions. The original video amassed more than 20 million views, WBAL reported. On @argonavigation's account, the video amassed 3.2 million views and over 50,000 comments, the bulk of which are supportive and kind.

One commenter, "g" says, "Suddenly I'm downloading a boating app without a boat."

Commenter Artist Mariam Paré said, "This is so sweet. I never comment. But I always want to support hard-working people and loving families!"

"I feel like a lot of people overlook social media as a really great tool, especially TikTok. Like, TikTok, the people on TikTok want to help each other out," Megan Foulk told WBAL TV 11.

"I'm really glad I could help him with his app. He works really, really hard on it. You can tell it's a passion because it's always on his mind," Megan Foulk said in a video posted on CNN Business.

After the video, Argo hit number one among navigation apps in the app store, WBAL also reported.

"It crashed the app for a little while," Jeff Foulk told the outlet. "I told my developer, 'I thought we were ready for this?' And, they said, 'Yeah, we were ready for the boating season. We were not ready for TikTok and a couple of million people jumping on the app.'"

Chinese-owned TikTok has been roundly criticized for the mental health-related harm it can cause young users. In addition, government entities have banned the app over data privacy concerns. But in this case, it is easy to see that the controversial, video-based social media platform can also be used for good.

By Friday, in Apple's app store, Argo boasted 5 of 5 stars, 19,000 ratings, and is ranked #12 in the navigation category charts.

'Dress coded at Disney': Woman's revealing top triggers woke Disney employees

A Florida woman's video showing that she was allegedly flagged for wearing a revealing top at Disney World in Orlando has gone viral on TikTok.

The video, which has garnered more than 9 million views, shows TikTok user Tori Cannella following a park employee into a store, where she was issued a modest T-shirt to wear instead of her long-sleeved crop top with a loosely fastened front.

“So yeah just experienced getting dress coded at disney,” the video caption reads.

@toragrams i mean, I kinda agree w them looking back at this video. #fyp #foryou #foryoupage #WomenOwnedBusiness #OscarsAtHome #SeeHerGreatness #VenmoSpringBreak ♬ Thinking with My Dick (feat. Juicy J) - Kevin Gates

Even Cannella "kinda agree[d]" that her flimsy shirt wasn't especially appropriate in a park meant mostly for little kids, but it's worth pointing out here that this sudden need to protect children's innocence is coming from the same company that recently lost their woke minds over Florida's "Parental Rights in Education" bill, which gives parents the right to choose what their 5- to 8-year-olds do and don't learn about "sexual orientation or gender identity" in public schools.

The bill has misleadingly been labeled the "Don't Say Gay" bill by Democrats and left-wing critics, but as Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) has pointed out on more than one occasion, the bill isn't about banning the word "gay," but about empowering parents and keeping age-inappropriate lessons out of kindergarten through third-grade classrooms. But this hasn't stopped Disney's woke employees from going after DeSantis, accusing the governor of "bullying" and generally freaking out over a bill they obviously haven't read.

Here's the introduction to the bill:

Parental Rights in Education; Requires district school boards to adopt procedures that comport with certain provisions of law for notifying student's parent of specified information; requires such procedures to reinforce fundamental right of parents to make decisions regarding upbringing & control of their children; prohibits school district from adopting procedures or student support forms that prohibit school district personnel from notifying parent about specified information or that encourage student to withhold from parent such information; prohibits school district personnel from discouraging or prohibiting parental notification & involvement in critical decisions affecting student's mental, emotional, or physical well-being; prohibits classroom discussion about sexual orientation or gender identity in certain grade levels; requires school districts to notify parents of healthcare services; authorizes parent to bring action against school district to obtain declaratory judgment; provides for additional award of injunctive relief, damages, & reasonable attorney fees & court costs to certain parents.
