Team Mueller enlists faulty logic in final failed attempt to resuscitate Russia hoax

In his last act as special counsel, Robert Mueller and his team of Democrat prosecutors gave one last piece of fodder to the Russia collusion hoaxers in the media and on the Left.

In the conclusion of his highly-anticipated Russia investigation report, which found zero evidence of the president engaging in a conspiracy with the Russian government, Mueller’s team determined that they could not conclude that the president “clearly did not commit obstruction of justice,” and that “based on the facts and applicable legal standards, we are unable to reach that judgment.”

“White this report does not conclude that the President committed a crime, it also does not exonerate him,” the report concludes.

Of course, Democrats and the legacy media are pointing to the conclusion as evidence there is still hope that the president committed illegal and impeachable actions.

But the conclusion from Mueller’s prosecutors is largely misleading and it fails the logic test. It was not Mueller’s job to prove a negative – that the president did not commit a crime. His job was to determine whether the president did commit a crime.

Definitively establishing that the president or his team did not obstruct justice or collude with Russia is an impossible task, or would entail a decades-long investigation, given the endless variables it would have to take for Team Mueller to prove a negative.

And it is not at all shocking that Mueller’s team of Trump-hating Democrats — several of whom have direct connections to top Obama administration officials and to Hillary Clinton — just won’t let it go.

Team Mueller’s immoral and misleading conduct should not come as a surprise to those who have been following his “investigation” for the past two years. Over the course of the Mueller probe, his team of investigators created perjury traps to trip up a decorated general in Michael Flynn, violently arrested George Papadopoulos, who was setup by foreign spies, and falsely labeled Carter Page as a Russian spy. And yet, no one was ever charged for collaborating with Russia.

The bottom line: Team Mueller has come up entirely empty on their hunt for collusion. Claiming they could “not” fully “exonerate” the president is merely grasping at straws.

Since the beginning of his presidency, a cloud of illegitimacy was hanging over President Trump’s mandate to lead the nation. The allegations against the president were entirely based on fabricated and largely debunked Russian collusion claims that originated in a dossier that was funded and manufactured by Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign. The Obama intelligence apparatus, with assistance from foreign intelligence agencies, pulled out all the stops to attempt to catch the president in a collusion scandal. They even used honeypots and entrapment tactics to attempt to draw out illegal behavior. None of it worked. The president has been fully exonerated of wrongdoing, whether Mueller and his team of partisans likes it or not.
